Thinking big...in gold, nickel & PGE's  

Orion Gold NL (ASX: ORN) is an Australian minerals explorer which is aiming to deliver shareholder value by exploring and developing its high quality portfolio of projects located in world class mineral provinces across Australia.

Orion has active exploration programs underway at:
 
· The Fraser Range Gold-Nickel Project in WA - a 900km² package of granted tenements located in the Fraser Range belt between the world class Tropicana gold deposit and the Nova nickel prospect, where exploration is targeting Nova-style nickel-copper discoveries. 

· The Walhalla Gold Project in Victoria - a world class gold field and the State's sixth largest historical gold producing region with over 400 known reef and alluvial deposits and historic production of +4Moz.  Cohen's reef, which is located within the Walhalla tenement, produced gold finding of approximatley 1.5Moz up to 1914. In addition, to its significant gold potential, Orion is also focusing on related copper, nickel and PGE mineralisation as part of a major rethink of the mineral potential of this region based on a new structural geological model.

·  The Aurora Flats Epithermal Gold Project in central Queensland - located on the same geological structures as other significant epithermal systems such as Cracow, Rannes, Mt Mackenzie and Mt Carlton with Orion presently holding two EPM applications covering an area of appromimately 561km²
